CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Powder River Art Gallery’s Jeremy Salazar is holding a month long pop-up art show at Dillinger’s Bar on Wed. the 24th of February.

Salazar is a Native American artist based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has had no formal training as an artist and said his upbringing on a Navajo Reservation helped shape his purpose for art.

“It is a passion for me to help represent the authentic Native arts as an authentic Native artist. We as Native peoples know our own stories best, the ones who lived it, the story tellers,” said Salazar.

Most of the proceeds from Jeremy’s sales go back to his tribe to provide staples such as toilets, wood burning stoves, hay and firewood.
