CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Dirty Axe and Mouthful are planning to move into 136 E 2nd Street. This is where RW Taubert is currently located. They will be moving across the street.

The Dirty Axe and Mouthful owners are excited to have a place with more space. They will be adding a kitchen to this historic building, but they want to keep the historical bones there. “We want to do this [remodel] carefully and calculated so we don’t lose the history of the building. That’s the big draw to this place,” said Justin Lavin, the Dirty Axe owner.

They will also have corn hole, virtual reality a rage room, foosball and live entertainment. They are still working through the details of occupancy and a liquor license. Lavin said they anticipate they will be able to have a few hundred people in the building.

The Dirty Axe is moving from their current location at 3300 E Yellowstone Highway and this will be Mouthful’s second location. Tyler Wood, Owner of Mouthful, said this collaboration will help their business and help downtown Casper. “We’ve been in the search of that second perfect location for a long time so we are really excited about this,” Wood said.

Lavin said the goal for the 2nd Street location is a family-friendly environment. He hopes to create a place kids want to stay in town for. “I want to give my kids every opportunity to stay here and have every amenity possible in this town and keep everybody here,” Lavin said.

They are also expanding to the backroom of Wyoming Bootlegger Liquor. Lavin said his vision for this place is different. “It’s what I call craft axe throwing its high end. It’s going to be really nice lanes and really high-end axes,” Lavin said.

They anticipate the Dirty Axe 2nd Street location will be available for the community the first week of June and they anticipate Mouthful being ready in July.
