CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - On Monday, Gov. Mark Gordon put pen to paper on House Bill 133, which will allow people in Wyoming to legally place sports wagers online.

All wagers will be online only with no retail shops, which is a similar setup to what Tennessee has in place.

Wyoming is the first state to legalize sports betting in 2021. Gamblers could be betting as soon as this college football season.

The Wyoming Gaming Commission estimates the state could eventually see up to $449 million in bets each year.
