CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Three Natrona County High School students made it official on Wednesday to continue their athletic careers in college. All three athletes are headed to play outside the state.

Cami Langley is off to South Dakota to play golf at Black Hills State University in Spearfish. Langley said she’s excited to play somewhere new.

“I love competing, and I’m excited to play at a higher level and see the challenges that will bring,” said Langley.

Two Natrona County wrestlers from its 4A state championship team are taking their talents to the next level.

Cyruss Meeks will make the journey down I-25 South and will wrestle at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Meeks said he had a lot of interest from different schools, but CSU-Pueblo “just felt right.”

Kyler Henderson is continuing the family tradition of wrestling in college at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Henderson said it means “a lot” to make his college wrestling dreams come true.

“I watched my uncle wrestle in college,” said Henderson. “My dad wrestled in college, and then also, been able to go watch Bryce Meredith and all these big names wrestle in college. Went to the D1 National Championship tournament, and I just knew I wanted to be there.”

Congratulations to all of the athletes on continuing their careers.
