Riverton Chamber of Commerce making the move further down Main Street

RIVERTON, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

The Riverton Chamber of Commerce is moving to a new location. It is just off Main Street across from A. D. Martin Lumber. The Set Free Church helped with the beginnings of the move on April 23rd, and the chamber hopes that by next week the move will be completed.

However, they are prepared for the move to take a couple more weeks, if needed. Phone numbers will remain the same. Although the chamber says they are thankful for their old rented chamber space, it is a little more than they need, and the ultimate goal is to build a brand new chamber.

Riverton Chamber of Commerce Director, Ashley Strickland stated, “This is just a temporary location. We are working on, planning on, and hopefully building our own building. Some ideas have been tossed around, we’ve met with the city. We have a lot of really awesome supporters on our side and on our team. Hopefully that gets done sooner than later, but it’s still quite a few years down the road.”

The new address will be 111 North 1st Street.
