CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Nicolaysen Art Museum will host a progressive dinner event Dali After Dark on May 15 at 5:30 p.m. This event was inspired by their exhibit, The Delightful World of Dali.

The event will have seven courses inspired by artist Salvador Dali’s cookbook. This meal will be created by the Silver Fox Steakhouse. They also plan to have interactive Dali activities.

Andy Couch, the executive director of the Nic, said the Nic hasn’t had a Dali exhibit before and they are excited to have two more of his pieces. This exhibit has also helped them bring people back into the museum since they had to close because of COVID-19.

“We were down nearly 70 percent of our attendance here and so having an exhibit like this with such a big name has definitely brought people back out,” Couch said.

Couch added that tickets for this event are almost sold out. If the community is interested in coming they can call (307) 235-5247 or get them in person at the front desk. Community members have until May 14 to see the Dali exhibit.
