CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -The Casper Boat Club is having its 13th annual canyon to curve fun run and walk on May 31. This year, they are donating proceeds to Jason’s Friends Foundation.

The event costs $40 to pre-register and $45 dollars the day of the event. The race starts at the Casper Boat Club at 23855 Lakeshore Drive Alcova, Wyoming. It goes through Freemont Canyon, past the boat club and along Alcova Lake. There is breakfast after and Bloody Bens for racers to enjoy.

Sonya Gruner, a Casper Boat Club volunteer, said it’s great to partner with Jason’s Friends. “We just wanted to support Jason’s Friends and the work they do fo this community. It’s so important for the state of Wyoming and for Casper,” Gruner said.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. in the Boat Club dining room. For more information visit www.casperboatclub.com
