CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation donated over 600 books to Wyoming Elementary schools. They held a contest with coloring pages, poster creations and marketing campaigns to teach these students what agriculture is all about.

Raenell Edsall-Taylor, the WFB promotions subcommittee chair, said these contests are helping kids learn about agriculture and the lifestyle surrounding it. They teach kids about beef, sheep and other Wyoming Products.

“It’s really neat to see that the kids are accurate when they color a picture of a dairy cow when it’s supported to be a dairy cow and a beef cow when it’s supported to be a beef cow,” Edsall-Taylor said.

They will be teaching the kids about soy beans for this project next year.
