Make-A-Wish Wyoming preparing for WyoGives Day
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Non-profits are preparing for WyoGives Virtual Day of Giving around the state, and Make-A-Wish Wyoming is looking forward to the festivities again, too.
Make-A-Wish Wyoming CEO Morgan Poloncic said she is looking forward to Wyoming uniting for a variety of good causes.
“I think what’s great about WyoGives Day is it gives everyone in the entire state of Wyoming to come together on one day to support the non-profits in our communities across the state,” said Poloncic. “We have so many incredible non-profits across the state, and it’s just really neat to see everyone come together to make a difference.”
Make-A-Wish Wyoming has 52 wishes in progress across the state, and the hope is to be able to grant 11 of those wishes by the end of the summer.
The wishes range from campers to golf simulators to a week at a dude ranch.
Poloncic said that it’s important people remember how many corners of the state Make-A-Wish Wyoming reaches. “Right now, we have Wish kids in Lyman and Gillette, Cheyenne, Rock Springs truly all over the state. And it really does take supporters from around the state to make each of those wishes possible.”
WyoGives Virtual Day of Giving will begin at 12:01 a.m. on July 14th. For more information about Make-A-Wish Wyoming, check out its website here.
