St. Joseph’s Food Pantry helps supply Cheyenne locals
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - For some, providing food for themselves and their loved ones can be a daily struggle. Luckily, some people use their abilities to make the world a better place.
St. Joseph’s Food Pantry have created a way to aid others who need that extra bit of supplies. Their staff, outside of their part-time supervisor, is made up of entirely volunteers, all with the same goal of improving the lives of people in the community. That mission seems to be inspiring companies in the area, with Walmart, Starbucks, Panera, Loaf N’ Jug, and others donating to their stock.
Their pickup system is simple. You must bring a photo-ID, proof of residence, and answer a few questions about your income. They even prepare specialty bags for the homeless, making sure they have ready-made products to survive on. With businesses helping them stay ready to help, St. Joseph’s will continue to offer their assistance for those in need.
