Man arrested for hitting Casper Police patrol car
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A man is in jail with multiple recommended charges after driving under the influence and hitting two parked cars. One of them being a Casper Police Department Patrol car.
A statement from the Casper Police Department Public Information officer Rebekah Ladd sent Wyoming News Now a statement that said officers arrested Lorenzo Eagle with the recommended charges of one recommended misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, one recommended misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, one recommended misdemeanor charge of interference along with several other driving-related citations and one misdemeanor warrant.
Eagle turned onto Center Street where Eagle hit two vehicles and two parked vehicles. The statement said Natrona County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were working in the courthouse and saw the second half of the crash. Deputies restrained Eagle while officers arrived at the scene.
Casper Police Officers inspected Eagle’s vehicle and found marijuana, meth and liquor. Upon arrival to the scene, officers immediately assisted emergency medical crews in transporting the driver of the suspect vehicle to the hospital with injuries. No other injuries happened during the incident.
