CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - CFD may be over, but there’s still activity at Frontier Park. The Old West Museum is hosting their annual Art Show.

The art show has been around for 41 years, making it only two years younger than the museum itself. Artist are allowed to have up to four pieces, a slight decrease compared to the five-piece limit in their old format. All funds raised by the art pieces are used to help with upkeep on the museum. They’ve raised over three million dollars since the event started, with over 200 thousand of that coming so far this year.

“The turnout has been great. Our opening reception sold out this year, and we’re really excited about that. We’ve seen a lot of people over CFD and then just people coming out to see the show, it’s been really great,” said Art Show and Events Coordinator Amanda Byzewski.

The art show will un until August 15, 2021. For more information, call or visit the Old West Museum’s website.
