CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

This morning, showers were occurring in the northeast corner along with clouds. In the southern half of the state, light clouds moved in yesterday and are sticking around today. Clouds with continue to stick around throughout the afternoon and in through tomorrow also.

Smoke conditions are so much lighter today than what happened earlier this week. Today, a heavy smoke pocket is in Casper and in Yellowstone NP. There is also a heavy pocket just to the north of Sheridan. Late tonight and early tomorrow morning, the heavy pockets will shift to the west. Riverton and Jackson will see the heavy smoke. By tomorrow afternoon, those same spots will see heavier smoke.

Though there is not a lot of smoke in the eastern half of the state, Air Quality Warnings are sticking around today. The Air Quality Warnings today are taking up the eastern half and along the eastern border. This warning is in effect until Thursday (today) at 1PM.

Temperatures today are in the 80s statewide. Tonight, the temperatures will cool into the 40s and 50s. Tomorrow’s temperatures are going to be nearly the same as today. Tomorrow will continue in the statewide 80 degree temperatures.
