CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Friday’s On The Plaza has served as Cheyenne’s hub for music and entertainment all summer long, but the festivities will be wrapping up for the season soon.

The weekly events finish off on August 27th. Before then, the acts performing will be Blinddog Smokin’ with Dragondeer (August 13), Yam Haus with Mr. Byrd and the Perfect Strangers (August 20), and The Palms with The Foxies (August 27).

After another successful year, the crew behind it all has already begun the planning for next years performances and artist choices.

Jason Sanchez, Deputy Director of Community Rec and Events, said, “As soon as the season ends, we’ll start taking requests for bands to consider. In September, our team will get together, we’ll start reviewing all the bands that have been suggested this year, and then we’ll start reaching out for next year, try to get them all on our calendar and get them to Cheyenne.”

Youcan see the final performances of the summer on Friday’s. The events are held at the corner of Capitol and West 15th Street in the Cheyenne Depot Plaza.
