Casper Boy Fights Bone Disease
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A brave boy in Casper has been fighting a bone disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease) for his entire life but has never let it slow him down. Even with his disease Aden Rodolph is one of the most active kids you would ever meet. He enjoys an array of outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, pickle ball, and throwing the football with his dad. He also said that he loves to ride bikes and has been learning guitar.
Aden and his family have been supported by the Shriners club for his entire life. Aden regularly visits the Shriner hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah for check ups and surgeries. On Thursday, September 16th, Aden’s family held a walk of love event which raised over seven hundred and fifty dollars for the hospital.
With the struggles that come with this type of disease Aden has never let it slow him down. along with being a bright and well spoken kid, he keeps a sense of humor through it all. When asked if he had any words of advise for other kids with disabilities Aden had this to say, “All I know is that God will take care of us and if you pray that He will help you He’ll get you through it.”
