Casper-Natrona County Health Department to host school vaccine clinic
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper-Natrona County Health Department will host vaccine clinics for students on Sept. 24, 30 and Oct. 1.
Hailey Bloom the CNCHD public information officer, said community members can come in for appointments. These vaccines are for students in kindergarten or seventh grade.
“DTaP and Tdap are recommended for those age groups. Plus, tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis. There is some broad coverage on these. They are super important,” Bloom said.
Bloom said if the student needs multiple shots they can try to combine them so they aren’t poked more than once.
