307 Vendor Co-op to host Pumpkin Fest
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Members of the 307 Vendor Co-op are hosting Pumpkin Fest at Antelope Park in Bar Nunn Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Community members can carve, paint and bowl with Wyoming-grown pumpkins. Pictures can be taken next to a 1,000-pound pumpkin coming from Worland. These activities are free, but there will be tip jars at each of the activities to support Mimi’s House, a local nonprofit that helps homeless youth. Funds from this event will go to general operations.
“There are so many people willing to partner and do something fun for the community. Bar Nunn is a great place to come because they’re always looking for something that’s fun for their community yet it grows through Casper,” said Jay Bliss, the President of 307 Vendor Co-op.
Bliss adds there will be a folk band performing at 5 p.m. to wrap up the day.
