Post 6′s Bradley Feezer commits to Nebraska Baseball
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cheyenne Post 6 Pitcher Bradley Feezer was borderline unhittable in 2021. The 6′6 right-hander recorded a ridiculous 0.73 ERA and struck out 141 batters across 95.1 innings pitched.
The Cheyenne Central junior was spotted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln when pitching for Prep Baseball Report Colorado and they started recruiting him in May. Fast-forward to October, and Feezer visited Lincoln, received an offer from the Huskers, and verbally committed over the weekend.
“They have a lot of people that care about student-athletes there and that was really appealing to me,” said Feezer. “I went to the football game and got to experience the student environment and that’s just off the charts and I just fell in love with it all.”
Feezer has a three-pitch repertoire which includes a fastball, curveball, and changeup. He said his fastball usually sits between 86-88, but he has topped out at 90 miles per hour.
Feezer has been a Post 6 Sixer since he was a freshman and he is appreciative for many people in his life.
“I just wanna thank all of my coaches, everybody that’s been from when I played in the CJL to Post 6 this past year and [my pitching coach] Josiah Ward,” he said. “I want to thank all of them because without them I really couldn’t have been given this opportunity and have been as much of a developed baseball player as I am today.”
Nebraska Baseball won the Big Ten in 2021 and made it to the Regional Final of the 2021 NCAA Baseball Tournament.
