Fall Like Feels

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Lots of clouds throughout the day today. Overcast skies have taken up much of the Cowboy State. On the radar and satellite, showers can be seen along with all of the cloud coverage. The rain showers are sticking mostly to the center of the state, and it is rotating to the northeastern corner.

Rain showers will continue rotating out of the northeastern corner through the overnight hours and into very early tomorrow morning. Throughout tomorrow morning and into tomorrow afternoon, the cloud coverage will lighten up and skies will become clear. Late tomorrow afternoon, more clouds will move in from the West, which will bring partly cloudy skies to the East.

Smoke is remaining light in pockets. Most of the lighter smoke pockets will stay in the western half of the state. These light pockets will also lie along the southern border. The smoke within these pockets will not last long.

High temperatures were in a range of from the 40s in the northwestern corner, 50s in the center of Wyoming, and 60s in the southeastern corner. With the cloud coverage and slight breeze, it felt a little cooler than it actually was outside. Low temperatures will be in the 20s, 30s, and low 40s tonight. Tomorrow, temperatures will continue in the 40s and 50s for most of the state. Temperatures will continue feeling like fall throughout the next week.
