CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Hope everyone was able to enjoy the last few days of calm weather because we have some activity ramping up for this weekend. A new cold front is on the way , but it is not expected to be anything like the last ones we got over the past few weeks. Tomorrow, we can start to notice a change. Clouds will begin moving from the west so we can see mostly overcast conditions across the state for much of the day. Because of that, temperatures will be slightly lower than what we saw today. Some scattered showers will also be moving from the western regions as well. Some of them may be moving toward the central and eastern region effecting the bigger cities, but the rain chances are rather low until Saturday night and into Sunday.

There is also the possibility of some snow in the higher elevations and the mountains but not widespread. The good news is the Storm Prediction Center does not have any chances for severe weather over the next three days. We will start to feel the cold front coming through as the winds pick up going into the afternoon hours tomorrow. Gusts can reach over 30 MPH for the central and southern areas of Wyoming. Hopefully, this does not affect the Cowboys game early tomorrow afternoon. There won’t be any significant changes from this front, just some scattered showers, gusty winds, and slightly cooler temperatures.

Tonight, clouds will begin rolling in resulting in temperatures to be on the warmer side for this time of year with lots of 40s in the forecast. Tomorrow, temperatures will be on the cooler side, more so around seasonable levels, due to the overcast skies. The western regions will be seeing those cooler temperatures first as the front will have already gone through. Much of the central and eastern sides of the state will see those cooler conditions by Sunday.
