CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Every year, the people of Wyoming construct some of the most unique Christmas trees the Cowboy state will ever see. This Friday, the public has a chance to take one home.

The ‘Festival of Trees’ is an annual event hosted by Magic City Enterprises (MCE) to raise funds to support the disabled community in Wyoming. It features an elegant dinner, cocktails, live music, and a live and silent auction where the trees, among other Christmas-themed items, will be up for grabs.

“The staple of our event is our beautifully decorated Christmas trees. We have partners from around the community that decorate Christmas trees and donate them so that we can auction them off and raise money for our organization, so that really brings out the spirit of the event,” Amanda Peterson, MCE’s manager of marketing and fundraising said.

After the event fell victim to the COVID-19 pandemic the last two years, forcing MCE to hold the festival virtually, they’re ready to revive the evening that’s been a cornerstone for the organization the last nine years.

‘Festival of Trees’ will take place this Friday, Dec. 2 at Little America Hotel and Resort.

Tickets are on sale now for $75 and can be purchased here.
