On the First Day of 3A and 4A State Basketball Both East Teams Move on to Semis, Laramie Gets the Better of Riverton, and the Douglas Boys Continue Their Roll
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The final weekend of high school basketball is here, as the 3A and 4A state tournaments get underway in Casper.
Both of the East teams move onto the semifinals, as the boys explode in the third quarter to take out Jackson, and the girls defense shines as they are able to come away with a convincing win against Star Valley.
Laramie and Riverton went head to head in the first round of states, and it was Laramie’s offense that couldn’t be stopped as they are now one game away from going to the state finals.
