Douglas’ Girls Team Makes it Back to the State Finals, Cheyenne Easts Girls Team Couldn’t Make it Back, While the East’s Boys Team Offense Pops Off
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - With only one day left in the 2022-23 high school basketball season, the 3A and 4A state finals are locked in.
Douglas’ girls team will be going their sixth state title in a row, after they use an explosive start against Lyman to move to the finals.
East’s girls team will miss out on the state finals for the first time since 2018, as Cody eliminates them with some stellar offense.
East’s boys team had a different result, as they couldn’t seem to miss in their semi final game against Campbell County, earning them a shot at the state title.
