CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - CYBL recently faced vandalism on May 30th, it was a minor setback for the league and they have a major comeback ahead. On May 30th around 4 pm one of the employees was preparing for the games that night, when they found that the snack shack was broken into. The door showed clear damage, after entering the snack shack there were more items that were stolen. The items include snacks, drinks, a tablet, umpire gear, and a card reader. The total damages cost around $5,000.

The fund from the snack shack financially fuels the team’s needs, but the incident is not stopping this league from moving forward.

The president said in a statement “ It’s really important to us to make sure that no matter what happens we will overcome it no matter what it takes”

After speaking to multiple individuals that work with CYBL they want the community to know that they are they for “Just Baseball”. They are there to help the youth of the community.

There is a corn-hole tournament coming up on Friday night at the Elk Club downtown. There will be an all-you-can-eat taco bar for $15 and a cornhole tournament.

The funds would replenish the snack shack as well as help CYBL get new batting cages for everyone’s use.
