Haley Roedder joined the KCWY 13 Wyoming News Now team in June of 2021. She comes from the Midwest and is excited to explore Wyoming and learn more about the Casper community. It feels like home already! Haley is a 2021 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BA in Broadcasting (Concentration: News and Sports Reporting) and a minor in Sociology. Go Tops!
In college, Haley served as a reporter and anchor for WKU's News Channel 12 and Extra Point shows. Haley's passion for broadcasting and television communications started when she was 16 and got involved with the Miss America's Outstanding Teen program. Through this organization, she learned that her passion is to help people by being a resource for them. This is something she wants to continue in her professional career.
In her free time, Haley serves as a mental health advocate with her platform she created in 2015 called Mental Health Matters- serving as a real life example of what a little compassion and love can do for someone who is struggling. She has worked with various organizations over the last seven years to continue to advocate for those in need of the support and resources.
Haley would love to connect with you! You can find her on Facebook and Twitter. If you have any story ideas, feel free to send them her way. firstname.lastname@example.org
