After having to quarantine for two weeks, the Laramie County Community College (LCCC) men’s soccer team returned to action, hosting tough competition in Real Colorado for a scrimmage. The Golden Eagles showed little to no rust as they won the scrimmage, 1-0.
Cheyenne Central’s girls swim & dive team hosted Cheyenne East and Rock Springs for a dual meet, on Saturday, October 3. The Indians beat the T-Birds, 114-64, and the Tigers 100-74. Central won nine out of 12 events on the meet.
High school tennis state championship for the girls, Cheyenne Central took home the state title for the fourth year in a row, making it six of the last seven. Kelly Walsh’s boys tennis team won their first state championship, since 1994.
